LOS ANGELES – More than eight years after she filed for divorce, Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt have reached a settlement in the former glamour couple’s marital breakup.
The accord was finalized through a default declaration filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016.
The two were together for about 10 years and married in France in 2014.

The same year Jolie filed for divorce, she accused Pitt of assaulting her and yelling at their children on a private plane traveling from the US to France.
Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, are continuing their court battle regarding her sale of her share in Chateau Miraval, the French winery they once co-owned and the location where they were wed. Hearings on multiple matters in that case are scheduled Feb. 5.
Pitt and Jolie share six children: Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Shiloh Nouvel, Pax Thien, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
The Senate approved the measure by a vote of 78-18 shortly after the House easily approved it. The bill generally funds agencies at current levels through Dec. 20. But an additional $231 million was included to bolster the Secret Service after the two assassination attempts against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Money was also added to aid with the presidential transition, among other things.

Jolie‘s lawyers had maintained Pitt’s allegations for breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, tortious interference with contractual relations and tortious interference with prospective business relations had been unsuccessful four previous times in properly pleading those causes of action.
best online slots“At best, this is a case about the breach of an unspoken, unwritten contract implied from the facts and circumstances of two parties’ relationship,” Jolie‘s attorneys stated in their court papers.
Judge Lia Martin, having taken Jolie’s motion under submission, overruled the actress’ request and told her to file an answer within 30 days. (With CNS report)
