LUCENA CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives of Rizal police on Tuesday arrested six drug traffickers and seized more than P1.5 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and two illegal firearms in separate operations.
The Region 4A police, in a report Wednesday, Jan. 29, said a team of operatives in Antipolo City held “Ryan” and “John” around 9:55 p.m. in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mayamot.
Article continues after this advertisementSeized from the suspects were eight plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 180 grams worth about P1,224,000 as per the valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).

Police tagged Ryan and John as among the persons included in the police drug watch list as HVIs or high-value individuals in the local drug trade.

During routine frisking, the cops found Benjamin in alleged possession of an illegal caliber .45 pistol loaded with five bullets.

Rizal police are conducting further investigation to determine the source of the seized shabu.
The suspects were detained and are facing charges for allegedly violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, violation of firearm laws, and the. election gun ban.
